One Man's meat...............

I was told that cassava starch is poisonous and can not be eaten. I remember growing up, when we starched our school uniform and our parents will tell us that eating starch is dangerous, so we shouldn't put them in our mouth. They will always tell us that it contains cyanide,(so does fufu and garri until they are cooked). Now I realize that starch is part of Urhobo native delicacy in the south south part of Nigeria. They can eat starch with any soup but the Banga and Owoh soup is their native soup served in most traditional events.
I sat down starring at this delicious meal

and the first thing that comes to mind is one man's meal is another man's poison.

Virgin hair fertilizer

A lot has been said about taking care of natural hair, most people say, it is so expensive to care for and others say it is so painful to manage. Some people had actually told me that they cannot afford to buy most of the hair products. I have decided to try some made in Nigeria products so as to be able to recommend to some of my natural hair sisters the good and less expensive ones, also encourage them to grow out their hair. Most of the made in Nigeria leave in conditioners and shampoos I used has proven to be a no go area. I went for black soaps as shampoo but I haven't gotten a good made in Nigeria hair conditioner or leave- in(I am using Cantu products for now). I also cherish my raw Shea butter which most times I use as sealant and hair cream.
About two months ago I bought Virgin hair fertilizer because of the reviews I've seen and read about it, although I have used it ones in secondary school to treat dandruff. It has been said that this product enhances hair growth which I can agree with because I cut off about 2 inches of my hair in the month of June, and between June and now I have grew back the two inches. This is what is left of my Virgin hair cream. I am determined to grow out my hair and if using 500 Naira worth of product will achieve that, it is not much a price to pay.
I want to see how many inches of hair I would grow by December using virgin hair fertilizer cream daily. Currently my hair at the nape which is the shortest part of my hair is 13 inches, so by December I hope to achieve 18 inches that is one inch a month.
WAYS TO ACHIEVE MY GOAL
I have started protective styles by wearing two corn rows on my hair. I will moisturize, and re-plait these corn rows every three days.

I will wash, deep condition my hair every 2 weeks.
Every night, I will apply the hair cream before going to bed.
Eating balanced meal is priority for me on this challenge.
I will cover my pillow with satin because wearing the bonnet or scarf does work well for me.
I wish  to keep to this routine but if there are changes, I will let you all know and I hope you will join me on this hair challenge
